Last updated July 2026. Governs purchases made on pidock.com and your use of piDock under a paid license. piDock incorporates code originally released under the MIT License - see the License page for the required attribution to that origin. That notice does not affect the commercial terms of your purchase, set out below.
Full refund, no questions asked, within 14 days of purchase. Email support@pidock.com with your license key or the email you paid with. Once refunded, that key is revoked and stops working - the same "Revoke" action shown against every license in our admin records.
A one-time payment ("License") activates piDock on one device, for as long as piDock is offered - it's not a subscription and doesn't expire on its own. Every current and future dock type (Container, Gateway, Drive, Pinboard, FTP, Git, Vault) is included; there's no separate "premium tier" beyond the free 7-day trial.
Moving to a new PC: email support and we'll unbind your key from the old device so you can activate it on the new one. There's no self-service unbind yet - it's a quick manual step on our end.
We may discontinue, suspend, or modify piDock - including license activation/validation, update checks, and support - at any time, for any reason, with or without notice. A license is a right to use the version of the software as it exists; it isn't a guarantee that our servers, updates, or support will keep running indefinitely. If we do wind piDock down, that alone doesn't create a right to a refund outside the 14-day window above, except where a law that can't be waived says otherwise.
| Type | What it is |
|---|---|
| GIFT key | A regular license, generated by us for someone to give as a gift. Same one-device terms as a purchased key. |
| Coupon | A code redeemable once per email address at pidock.com/redeem for one free GIFT-type key, until it expires. |
| Discount code | A percentage off a real purchase at checkout - not a free key. May have an expiry or usage limit we set. |
Keys obtained through a coupon weren't paid for, so the refund policy above doesn't apply to them - there's nothing to refund.
piDock is provided "as is" - we work to keep it reliable, but make no guarantee it will be error-free or fit for any particular purpose.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
If these terms change in a way that matters, the "last updated" date above will move. Continuing to use an already-purchased license isn't affected by later changes to these terms.
Questions about a purchase, refund, or these terms: support@pidock.com.
